A 2 bedroomed cottage in the quiet village of Reighton between Filey and Bridlington and only a short drive to the beach. Lounge and newly refitted breakfast kitchen downstairs and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.
The Lounge has an electric fire, 2 comfortable sofas and widescreen tv and dvd player.
The dining kitchen has a large oven with a gas hob and electric oven and grill. There is a fridge, a microwave and washing machine. There is seating for 4 at the kitchen table.
Main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has a full body, power shower.
There are 2 local pubs within walking distance both do meals and bar snacks.
(There is a new bypass around Reighton and it is now a very quiet village).
Sea Rose Cottage is new for 2008 and we currently have availability for the summer.
Filey
is perhaps best described as a mini Whitby or Scarborough. It was like
these a Victorian seaside destination and fishing port, and retains its
charm as well as possessing 5 miles of beautiful sandy beaches which
attract swimmers and surfers alike.
The East coast of Yorkshire is a beautiful part of the country. There are many coastal villages with fabulous beaches.
Golf is on offer, as are a
little theatre and Filey Museum (built 1696) on Queen Street which
offers a complete history of the town. A great destination for
birdwatchers on holiday or weekend break, with its nearby nature
reserve.
Filey and the Brigg
Take a walk out on Filey Brigg, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
